A Dog Day Afternoon in Miami

For May's “National Dog Bite Prevention Week,” Miami Customer Relations Coordinator Mirtha Uriarte and Safety Specialist Fred Deno IV partnered with Dade County Animal Services at a “Dog Adoption Day” at the Flagler PetSmart location. While Animal Services promoted the adoption of new “four-legged” family members, Deno and Uriarte shared information on responsible pet ownership.

Uriarte also shared a photo of her beloved terrier, Simon, adopted from from a shelter a few years ago.
