On June 16, the Postal Service honored four American scientists with collectible Forever stamps during a ceremony at the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul.The stamps — the third set in the American Scientists series — honor chemist Melvin Calvin, botanist Asa Gray, physicist Maria Goeppert Mayer and biochemist Severo Ochoa. Each made significant contributions to the advancement of science.
The American Scientists stamps are available nationwide at Post Offices, online at usps.com and through the toll-free line, 800-782-6724.
