On Friday, June 1, USPS released the Mail a Smile stamp sheet featuring five Disney Pixar designs on Forever stamps.
Jo Ann Feindt, Area Vice President, Southern Area Operations, dedicated the stamps featuring Flik and Dot from "A Bug's Life;" Bab Parr aka Mr. Incredible and Dashiell "Dash" Parr from "The Incredibles;" Nemo and Squirt from "Finding Nemo;" Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye from "Toy Story 2;" and Boo, Mike Wazowski, and James P. Sullivan aka Sulley from "Monsters."
"These delightful stamps lift spirits and touch hears and remind us that when it comes to connecting with loved ones, technology is no match for the mail," said Feindt.
Joining Feindt in dedicating the stamps was Jay Ward, legacy guardian for Pixar Animation Studies.
The First-Day-Of-Issue dedication ceremony took place at the new Walt Disney World Report, the Disney's Art of Animation Resort which opened May 31, 2012.
