District Safety Specialist Debbie Payne-Hobbs (above) conducted orientation for a group
of new hires. The group included Rural Carrier Associates (RCAs), Holiday
Employees, Mail Handlers, and City Carrier Assistants (CCAs) who will be

In Fort Lauderdale, South Florida District Safety Specialist John Zeigler
(above) demonstrated the proper use of the General Purpose Mail Container (GPMC) to new hires.
“My goal is to make safety a culture,” said Zeigler while addressing new hires on the proper use of equipment.
