On
March 29, the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Palm Beach
hosted a special dedication ceremony honoring a local Vietnam veteran and
recognizing the war's 50th anniversary.
West Palm Beach Postmaster Ernest Onody (above, right) was honored to dedicate a Vietnam Veterans Memorial stamp enlargement for the occasion. Vietnam veteran Thomas Corey (above, left) served as the Master of Ceremonies. Over the years, Corey received many honors, including a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for his philanthropic work in Vietnam.
