Miami Customer Relations Coordinator Rose M. Castro presented the Julia De Burgos stamp enlargement to Lucy Del Valle-Noriega, Miami Chapter President, National Conference of Puerto Rican Women, and Vivian Ortiz, President, National Conference of Puerto Rican Women.The National Conference of Puerto Rican Women (NACOPRW), including membership from 13 chapters, celebrated its 37th annual convention in Miami last week. Miami Customer Relations Coordinator Rose M. Castro presented an enlargement of the Julia De Burgos stamp as part of the celebration.
"Fostering Leadership: Engaging the Next Generation of Women Leaders" was this year's theme, and approximately 150 women leaders from around the country participated. Conference organizers bought the Julia De Burgos stamps as a commemorative item for all attendees.
