Employees
picked up their workshop schedules in an outdoor hallway lined with tables of
Subject Matter Experts representing the U.S. Postal Service and the U.S. Postal
Inspection Service. Workshops included topics such as career path development,
financial planning, interview skills, and professional writing. Employees
shared their professional accomplishments and career aspirations with a panel
of postal executives, featuring Vice President, Area Operations, Southern Area
Jo Ann Feindt. Many Southern Area executives, including District Managers,
shared their experiences and offered advice on upward mobility.
“I
learned a lot from the workshops and appreciated the opportunity to share my
career aspirations with senior leadership,” said Tequesta, FL, Retail Associate
Derek Arron. “The conference was an excellent investment.”
More than 500
employees registered for the Career Conference in Boca Raton, FL. South Florida
District Manager Jeffery Taylor (standing) looks into the audience to invite a

Several
departments, including Sales, set up informational tables to promote their
functional area at the Career Conference. Pictured back row, from left: Field

employees who were interested in becoming a Field Sales Representative.
