Every household in the United States will soon know the Postal Service is ready to deliver this holiday season.
USPS is sending a variety of direct mailings to every residential address to let customers know they can count on the Postal Service during the holidays.
Each mailer offers information on USPS products, services and key mailing dates. Details on holiday stamps, cards and Priority Mail packaging are included.
Additionally, the mailers provide instructions on using the Postal Service’s augmented reality (AR) smartphone application.
When users with the app point their phones at blue collection boxes, they can activate a range of experiences, including Charlie Brown-themed videos, animation and photos.
The mailers and AR are part of the Postal Service’s digital holiday campaign, which also includes TV commercials and websites.
