Delivering Daily Safety Messages

South Florida District Driver Safety Instructor Dorothy Uriarte greets all employees at the Fort Lauderdale Main Office with her daily safety slogans.  The slogan above reads: “Remember the 4 second following distance rule, add 2 seconds if it’s raining or congested.  Be Safe!!”

Uriarte also meets with carriers on their routes and delivers a safety message.

“I like to coach and mentor the Letter Carriers,” said Uriarte.
