Special recognition was given
to Letter Carrier Yvette Perez for her dedication to service at the City Place
Station. Diaz is a breast cancer survivor for three years.
“Women should make sure they
get yearly mammograms. Because we didn’t
have breast cancer in our family, I would never do it, but the day my mom and I
made appointments, when we got the results, mine was positive. I had stage 1 breast cancer. I have had over 32 treatments and they are
not pleasant, but I am so glad they caught it in time,” said Perez.
“Yvette is dedicated and a
real asset to our delivery operation,” said Manager, Customer Services Jordan
Beabout who honored his employees with a continental breakfast that included cheesecake.
