Nippon Express, a global logistics company in Miami , is expanding its business
with two postal products.
In the near future, Nippon Express will begin using International
Service Airlift and Priority Mail International with permits established at the
Miami Business Mail Entry Unit. This
firm will be able to take advantage of the current drop ship discounts and
expedite their mail from the Miami
International Service
Center .
Recently, local Nippon Express officials toured the Miami
BMEU with Business Service Network Representative Barry Stein. He explained BMEU acceptance and clearance
procedures and introduced the Nippon Express staff to BMEU and Mailing
Requirements personnel. The group then
visited the Miami ISC where Plant Manager Benjamin Vidal gave a tour of
international operations, including the acceptance and processing of mail to be
dispatched on air cargo equipment.
