EAP Offers Holiday ePromotions

The holiday season can mean many things … especially if you are a postal employee.  While your personal life may be filled with holiday preparations, activities, and spirit, your work life is probably filled with long shifts, anxious customers, and a larger-than-normal mail volume. Especially during this busy time of year, it is important to remember how your job directly impacts your customers, how your disposition influences your co-workers, and how your own attitude affects yourself. It is helpful to remember your responsibility in spreading good cheer always and specifically during this time of year.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is encouraging employees to sign up for its ePromotion, “Spreading Good Cheer.” An ePromotion is a series of emails sharing brief information to help you actively engage in a topic every Tuesday and Thursday over the next two weeks. This ePromotion will send emails that help you to remember your part in spreading good cheer to those around you.   

You may use your postal or home email address and your participation is strictly confidential. Please feel free to share the daily emails with your co-workers and family members and encourage them to sign up as well.
