For a veterans celebration, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Immediate Past Flotilla Commander Julio
Garcia invited Miami Postmaster Enrique (Rick) Suarez to the “2018 Meals
with Memories – A Luncheon Honoring Our Veterans.”
The annual event took place at the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Miami in Opa-Locka.
Suarez enlisted Local
Services personnel and the Office of Inspector General and U.S. Postal

Florida veterans who were among the 1,000 individuals in attendance.
Suarez also dedicated Honoring
First Responders stamp framed artwork before an enthusiastic crowd that proceeded
to purchase these stamps at the postal booth.
