Henry Dominguez has been named Senior Plant Manager for the South Florida District.
In this position, Dominguez is responsible for overseeing mail processing operations at four facilities, including the Miami International Service Center (ISC); Miami Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC); Royal Palm P&DC; and West Palm Beach P&DC.
Approximately 2,702 employees work at these facilities, handling more than nine billion pieces of mail annually with an operating budget of just over $281 million.

His career began at the South Florida P&DC in 1991, where he worked as a Distribution Clerk, a Multi-Position Letter Sorting Machine (MPLSM) Trainee, and later as a Flat Sorter Machine (FSM) Operator. In 1996, he became an Associate Supervisor at the South Florida P&DC. He gradually took on more responsibility, serving as Supervisor, Distribution Operations at the South Florida P&DC and the Miami Airport Mail Center (AMC). He continued building experience in mail processing, becoming a Manager, Distribution Operations at the South Florida P&DC in 2000.
In 2005, Dominguez was named Plant Manager, Fayetteville, North Carolina, P&DC and later was selected for the same position at the South Florida P&DC. In 2008, he became Manager, Bulk Mail Center in Hazelwood, MO. In 2012, he was named Senior Plant Manager of the St. Louis P&DC and later served as Plant Manager, also at the St. Louis P&DC. He also served as Manager, Processing Center Operations at Postal Headquarters in Washington DC. Just prior to arriving in South Florida on a detail earlier this year, he held the position of Senior Plant Manager, Gulf Atlantic District.
Dominguez is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) and the Processing Distribution Management Program (PDMP). He is a certified Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University and earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Miami-Dade Community College.
