South Florida District Manager Jeffery A. Taylor will retire
from the U.S. Postal Service on November 3, following a distinguished 34-year
career.
Taylor began his postal career as a City Carrier in

Taylor also served as Senior Plant Manager in the Arkansas District. He worked
at USPS Headquarters, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in employee development
for
city and rural delivery and helping to develop a Postmaster training course.
A seasoned District Manager, Taylor has held that role in a
number of locations, including the Rio Grande, Arkansas, and Louisiana Districts.
He served as Acting District Manager in the Dallas and Houston Districts. He was
named District Manager of the South Florida District in May 2013.
His plans for retirement include traveling and spending more
time with family, including his wife, Angie, and his son, Matt.
“One of the hallmarks of Jeff’s career is his spirit of teamwork
and his willingness to take on challenging assignments,” said Southern Area
Vice President Shaun E. Mossman. “I know you join me in congratulating Jeff on
an exceptional postal career. The Postal Service owes him a great debt of
gratitude for his loyalty and dedication, and we wish him many years of a happy
and healthy retirement.”
