Marlene Findlay (above) has been promoted to Manager, Customer Services for the Jupiter/Tequesta Branch.
Findlay started her postal career as a Mark Up Clerk in the Morgan Stanley Building in New York, NY in 1999.
Her excellent work ethic earned her an opportunity to become an Acting Supervisor in the Computerized Forwarding System (CFS) Unit.
Findlay continued to excel and was accepted into the Associate Supervisor Program (ASP) and in 2001, graduated as a Supervisor, Customer Services. She was assigned to the Ansonia and Columbus Circle Stations in Manhattan, NY.
Findlay led her units to raise over $60,000 by selling phone cards to be sent to our troops under a USPS approved "Operation Phone Home" program and was recognized for her leadership and accomplishment.
In 2006, Findlay relocated to South Florida where she worked at several West Palm Beach stations. Last year, Findlay was nominated as the South Florida District’s “Engagement Leader of the Year.” South Florida District Manager Jeffery A. Taylor presented her with a crystal award for being the first “Engagement Leader of the Year.”
Earlier this year, Findlay accepted a detail assignment as the Manager, Customer Services at the Jupiter/Tequesta Branch, and on September 16, was promoted to this position.
