A new holiday
TV ad reminds customers how much the Postal Service delivers during the
holidays.
In the ad, PMG Pat Donahoe delivers a rousing speech to employees while
stirring music plays.“We’re about to make more deliveries to more places than anybody on earth,” the PMG says. “We have the speed, we have the technology and we have the team.”
He also reminds viewers that USPS made more than 15 billion holiday deliveries last year and is set to do it again this season — no matter the obstacles.
“Football has its season. Baseball has its season. This is our season,” the PMG says.
The ad, from Brand Marketing, began airing Thanksgiving Day and is part of the Postal Service’s extensive holiday promotional efforts.
USPS introduced
its first holiday TV spot in early November, and the organization recently mailed
residential customers a “playbook” with an overview of holiday stamps, Priority
Mail products and more.
