Harris Saves the Day for Customer

Wanda Harris is off to a great start in her new position as Sales and Services Associate at Miami's Flagler Station.
Harris had only been in her new awarded position 10 days when she received the desperate call from an Overland Park, KS customer looking for a lost care package for her father.  Her father was scheduled to have surgery and she was not able to be at his side with the family.  Therefore, she decided to send a care package to him to let him know she would be at his side --- even if only in spirit.
Harris located the parcel and contacted the customer's relatives to pick it up at the station.   The customer’s father himself and his wife came in to pick up the package and asked to meet  Harris.  Harris said the gentleman hugged her and thanked her for her kindness and commitment to get the package delivered.
Harris was a mail processing clerk at the South Florida Processing & Distribution Center up to its closure in 2013.  She transitioned to working in the same capacity at the Miami International Service Center and recently decided to try Customer Service operations.
