A 'Boo-ti-ful' Boca Raton Experience

On Oct. 17, employees were in the spirit at the Boca Rio Branch. Why? Because the Boca Raton Stamp Club and the U.S. Postal Service resurrected an annual Halloween tradition. Customers were invited to purchase envelopes with a Halloween pictorial postmark and enjoy some treats at Happy Halloween Station in the lobby.

Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula
“Enter freely and of your own free will!” said Boca Raton, FL, Postmaster Carlos Rodon in his best Bela Lugosi impersonation of Count Dracula.

At Happy Halloween Station, The Count was joined by his Administrative Assistant, Jacqueline San Lucas, Boca Rio Branch Manager, Customer Services Juan Febres; and Boca Raton Stamp and Coin Club President Max Cohen. The quartet served cupcakes and refreshments to customers. But no witches brew allowed on the premises.

Every year, customers look forward to visiting Halloween Station --- all agreeing that it's “a ‘boo-ti-ful’ experience.”
