Martindale is Plant Mgr, WPB P&DC

June Martindale (pictured right) has been selected as Plant Manager at the West Palm Beach Processing and Distribution Center. She has been detailed in this position since June 2018.

Martindale has almost 25 years of postal experience, beginning her career as a Data Conversion Operator at the West Des Moines, IA, Remote Encoding Center (REC). Later, she worked as a City Carrier in Webster City, IA.

In 1999, Martindale entered the managerial ranks, serving as a Supervisor, Distribution Operations in Fort Dodge, IA. She also held the positions of Supervisor, Customer Services and Manager, Customer Services, both in Des Moines, IA; and later was promoted to Manager, Customer Services. In 2012, Martindale was named Postmaster, Waterloo, IA, and later served as Postmaster, Cedar Rapids, IA. In July 2017, she was selected Operations Programs Analyst for the Southern Area.

During her career, Martindale accepted several detail assignments, including City Delivery Route Alternative Adjustment Process (CDRAAP) Lead, Green Belt Trainer, and Senior Manager, Post Office Operations in the Hawkeye District. She also was Senior Lead Manager, Distribution Operations for the Seattle District.

A Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Certified Green Belt, Martindale currently is working on her LSS Black Belt certification. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Grand View College and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Drake University.
