PCC Members Tour Royal Palm P&DC

On Feb. 25, members of the Broward Postal Customer Council (PCC), Miami-Dade County PCC, and West Palm Beach & Treasure Coast PCC toured operations at the Royal Palm Processing and Distribution Center  (P&DC) in Opa-Locka, FL. Miami, FL, Postmaster Enrique Suarez gave opening remarks on behalf of district leadership in attendance: Operations Programs Support Janice Atherly; Manager, Post Office Operations Joseph Croce; Hialeah, FL, Postmaster Orlando de la Osa; West Palm Beach, FL, Postmaster Richard Fermo; Opa Locka, FL, Postmaster Manuel Ferrer; Fort Lauderdale, FL, Officer In Charge David Guiney; Manager, Marketing Juan Nadal; Manager, Post Office Operations Robert Weiser; and Hollywood, FL, Officer In Charge Phyllis Reed.

Manager, Transportation/Networks Eddy Ares gave a presentation on the Flat Sequencing System (FSS) and a tour of the operation. Then Vice President Delivery Operations, Edward F. Phelan, Jr. then shared his “New Delivery Concept” presentation with the membership.
