Jarrell is A/Mgr, Human Resources

Michelle Jarrell (above) is Acting Manager, Human Resources, South Florida District. On August 3, Manager, Human Resources Jann Miller is retiring after 43 years of dedicated government service, first in the U.S. Marine Corps and then in the U.S. Postal Service. 

Jarrell began her career as a Data Conversion Operator in Jacksonville, FL in 1997.  She has held numerous positions in the Gulf Atlantic District, including Customer Relations Coordinator; Supervisor, Customer Service Support; Manager, Customer Services, Westland Station, Jacksonville, FL; Budget Analyst; Manager, Delivery and Customer Service Programs; Manager, Financial Programs Compliance; and Manager, Post Office Operations. Most recently, Jarrell was Manager, Customer Services, Boynton Beach, FL.

Jarrell was Acting Manager, Finance in the Gulf Atlantic District and Louisiana District.  She also has held various detail assignments in the Human Resources and Marketing (Consumer Affairs and Retail) functional areas in the Gulf Atlantic District.

Jarrell graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of North Florida. She is a graduate of the U.S. Postal Service’s Management Leadership Program (MLP) and is Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt certified.
