Polly Zaldivar
Polly Zaldivar is retiring from Magellan Health Services effective Friday, December 4.
For the past 14 years, Polly has been the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Consultant for the South Florida District. When employees would "make the call," Polly often was the one who answered the phone. Over the years, Polly (and her staff) provided counseling on emotional, marital, family, alcohol or drug abuse problems --- as well as job-related and legal/financial situations.
Polly not only will be remembered for her curly red hair, bubbly personality, and zest for life, but for her compassion in helping employees who sought her counsel. She recognized that employees are the Postal Service's most valuable assets and truly was interested in helping employees maintain and enhance the quality of their lives.
Last week, Polly attended her last District EAP Committee meeting where the members shared lunch and wished her well in her retirement.
