Help Deliver More Customers for PCC Day

Do you have a family member, neighbor, friend, or business associate who is interested in finding ways to make their company more profitable?

On Wednesday, September 15, almost every Postal Customer Council across the country --- including South Florida --- will host an event to celebrate “America’s Partnership,” the theme of National PCC Day. It's the premier Fall event for the mailing industry ... with PMG Jack Potter as keynote speaker. He will be joined by several postal executives at a National PCC Day event in Oregon.

South Florida business mailers can tune in to the PMG’s address live satellite broadcast at Dave and Buster's at 3000 Oakwood Blvd in Hollywood. The South Florida event is scheduled 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, and the PMG will deliver his remarks at noon. At Dave and Buster’s, Timothy C. Healy, USPS Vice President, Retail Products and Services, and Jeff Becker, Acting District Manager, South Florida District, will address attendees. Local postal Subject Matter Experts will deliver informative, educational workshops: “Business Customer Gateway,” “Best Kept Secrets of the National Customer Service Center,” and “Quality Addressing.” Attendees will earn a Quality Addressing and Mailing Insight Professional Certificate. The lunch buffet and workshops will cost $30 per customer.

The PCC Program is intended to establish an effective dialogue and improve communication between the U.S. Postal Service and its customers. PCCs help keep customers apprised of changes in service, make suggestions or improvements to their local Postmaster, and give customers a role in the postal decision-making process. Nationwide, there are more than 200 PCCs that regularly meet and conduct mailer clinics, educational seminars, and business expos throughout the year.

The South Florida National PCC Day event is hosted by the PCC of Broward County, Miami-Dade County PCC, and the PCC of the Palm Beaches.

Business customers may register for our local National PCC Day event at miamipcc.com.
