Davie Customer is Happy on Tax Day

Customer Elizabeth London from Southeast Landscape Management was pleasantly surprised to find no line at the Davie Branch this morning.

Tax Day preparation started early this morning, with the Custodians Doug Kenney and Jeffrey Thompson cleaning the windows and floors and emptying the trash; Retail Associate Anne Riggs stocking the lobby with plenty of Certificates of Mailing, Certified and Return Receipt forms and Ready Post shipping supplies; and Manager, Customer Services Johnson D’Souza directing the early arriving customers to the Mailing and Shipping Center.

When the full-service lobby opened, there were only a few customers left in line and they were already delighted with the service and preparedness of the Davie staff. Customer Elizabeth London arrived early hoping to beat the crowds and was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly she was served.

“I thought there would be long lines waiting for the Post Office to open, but when I arrived, I could see the staff was already assisting customers at the automated machine," said London. "This is fantastic; I didn’t have to wait at all.”
