Celebrating a Career Milestone

Last week, West Palm Beach A/Manager, Customer Service Operations Andy Moir presented a 30-year Service Award and Pin to Wellington Carrier Annex Manager, Customer Services Joseph Hawk in front of his employees.

Hawk started his career in Blue Point, NY, and then transferred to Boca Raton, FL where he was promoted to Supervisor, Customer Services within four years. Two years later, Hawk was promoted to Manager, Customer Services.

 

He opened the West Boca Carrier Annex and during his career, has held several detail assignments, including Officer In Charge (OIC) in Boca Raton, FL, and Palm Bay, FL. He also served on the South Florida District Route Adjustment Team.

 

Hawk has been Manager, Customer Services at the Wellington Carrier Annex the past eight years.

 

“The Postal Service has been very good to me, and what I appreciate most is the people with whom I’ve met during my career,” said Hawk. “My advice to employees is always to do what is right and do your job.”
