It Takes a 'Village' to Address a Letter

Village of Early Education Center Director Maureen Cordoba (center) reviews with students the steps to complete their project on addressing a mailpiece.

Village of Early Education invited the U.S. Postal Service to participate in their 2019 Career Day.

“It's never too early to learn about mailing letters and packages,” said Center Director Maureen Cordoba who recognizes all too well the company names on the packages in the carrier’s vehicle. The students also recognize the shipping companies, just like the ones their parents receive at home.

Each child was provided instructions on addressing a letter and each prepared one to a family member and were excited for the recipient to receive their letter.

Miami, FL, Quail Heights Branch Letter Carrier Sharon Henley collects the letters from students to mail.
