Catch the Safety Bug in WPB!

A/Safety Specialist Ruth Dombroski says catching bugs is a good thing! Ruth teaches newly- hired employees in West Palm Beach that safety is important, not only in the Postal Service, but in their personal lives.  Ruth begins teaching her Safety course by asking employees about their activities.  Ruth points out that if an injury occurs, the Postal Service and its customers may be affected.  Ruth further explains activities that we enjoy outside of work such as boating, bicycling, jogging, and swimming also could be affected if we don’t use extra caution while we are performing our duties.  This week Ruth “infected” approximately 12 newly-hired employees with her enthusiastic teaching performance.
