Door Opens for 2 Ad-Hoc Positions: Business Development Specialist

Are you looking to broaden your postal horizons?  Consider an ad-hoc position (not to exceed one year) as a Business Development Specialist, EAS -17.  The Marketing Department has two ad-hoc positions open to all qualified career postal employees within local commuting distance (50 miles) of the South Florida Processing and Distribution Center at 16000 Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines Successful candidates will report to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Ability to oversee sales lead generation process in order to achieve revenue targets.
  2. Ability to analyze growth trends and opportunities.
  3. Ability to plan, coordinate, and participate in customer service programs and activities designed to increase customer awareness and understanding of postal products and services.
  4. Ability to develop and conduct small and medium-sized business sales workshops and training programs.
  5. Ability to support others in their execution of revenue generation initiatives and lead programs.
  6. Ability to communicate orally and in writing sufficient to respond to inquiries from the general public and employees, provide technical guidance, and to serve as a liaison to various organizational levels.
  7. Ability to coordinate with management and union associations to resolve issues and improve processes on lead generating activities.
