New Faces in New Places

NEW POSTMASTER in JENSEN BEACH
Dawn Hutson is named to the position

Dawn Hutson has been named the new Postmaster in Jensen Beach effective October 6, 2012.  
Ms. Hutson joined the Postal Service in 1999 as a Clerk in West Palm Beach, FL.  In 2000, she graduated from the Associate Supervisor’s Program and served as Supervisor in West Palm Beach, FL where she was responsible for city delivery and retail operations.  She transferred to the Tennessee District in October of 2005.  She steadily advance and served on several Officer-In-Charge assignments including Oliver Springs, Oak Ridge, Jacksboro, Greeneville, and Harriman, TN.  Ms. Hutson was promoted to Postmaster in Jacksboro, TN on August 29, 2009.  She was again promoted to Postmaster in Harriman, TN on April 7, 2012. 
Ms. Hutson is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
With her expertise in city delivery, rural delivery, retail operations, previous knowledge of our area, and her commitment to the Postal Service, I am pleased to have her back in our District.
Dawn Hutson is the 9th Postmaster in Jensen Beach, Florida since 1926.
  
NEW POSTMASTER in bOCA RATON
Carlos Rodon is named to the position

Carlos Rodon has been named the new Postmaster in Boca Raton effective October 6, 2012. 
Mr. Rodon joined the Postal Service in 1984 as a Letter Carrier in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  During his career with the Postal Service, Mr. Rodon steadily advanced to positions with increasing responsibility including Manager, Customer Services in Surfside, North Miami Beach, Margate and Hollywood, FL.  Since September 24, 2010, Mr. Rodon has been the Officer-In-Charge in Delray Beach, Florida.  He has served in several other higher level details including Manager, Customer Services in both Hollywood and Miami, FL, and Manager, Post Office Operations for the 327 area formerly of the Central Florida District.  He was promoted to Postmaster in Deerfield Beach, FL on April 30, 2005. 
Mr. Rodon graduated in 1983 from Miami Dade Community College with an Associate in Management Development.  He is a graduate of the Postal Service’s Advanced Leadership Program in November of 2004.
His expertise in city delivery, retail operations, ability to develop employees, and commitment to the Postal Service makes him uniquely suited to this new role. 
Carlos Rodon is the 16th Postmaster in Boca Raton, Florida since 1899.

 NEW POSTMASTER in MOORE HAVEN
Tammie Lee is named to the position

Tammie Lee has been named the new Postmaster in Moore Haven effective October 6, 2012. 
Ms. Lee started as a Highway Contract Carrier in 1991 at Moore Haven, FL.  She was hired as a clerk in Moore Haven, FL in 1995.  Ms. Lee was an exceptional clerk eager to learn and assumed many duties including AMS Technician, Vending Technician, Safety Captain, Certified Sales Associate Trainer, and POS One Trainer.  She was promoted to Postmaster in Venus, FL on October 14, 2006.  Ms. Lee has also served as the Officer-In-Charge in Moore Haven since February 5, 2010.     
Ms. Lee is a lifelong resident in Moore Haven and is very active in the community.
Her commitment to the Postal Service, expertise in delivery, retail operations, and intimate knowledge of the community makes her uniquely suited to this new role. 
Tammie Lee is the 6th Postmaster in Moore Haven, Florida since 1944.
