Dan Lopez, Manager, Customer Services at Miami's Sunset Branch, honored two SSAs who are veterans in front of customers in the lobby.Dan read the letter signed by Postmaster Robert Carr and Miami Plant Manager Rick Suarez, thanking each SSA for their military service as part of a Veterans Day recognition. Customers applauded and both Martin Mattarran and Will Marti appreciated the recognition.
"Customers were shaking my hand and thanking me," said Will. "This is the first time I have been recognized in this manner."
Martin echoed Will's feedback.
Congratulations, Will and Martin ... Thank you for your military service, as well as the service you provide to our customers at the retail counter.
