County Line 7 Million Mile Drivers

County Line Annex Letter Carriers Gregory Cheever (33 years), Gwendette Douglas (31years), Joseph C. Jackson (42 years), Andrew Johnson II (30 years), R L Mike (35 years), Richard Rodriguez (30 years) and Edward Stokes (46 years) received the National Safety Council’s Million Mile Safe Driver Award for traveling one million miles each without experiencing a preventable accident. For over 30 years, these Letter Carriers have delivered mail without having an accident for an accumulative seven million miles.  

Manager, Customer Services Jimmy Jackson and A/Supervisor, Customer Service Support Gale Williams praised all for their commendable achievement of driving over 30 years each without an accident and presented them with the award – plaque and lapel pin – refreshments to celebrate along with their peers.  

Each recipient will receive a $500 monetary award from the U.S. Postal Service.
