The West Palm Beach Main Post Office partnered with the Palm Beach County Library System in dedicating the Rudolph, Bumble, Hermey, and Santa stamps before a standing-room-only crowd of preschool children, parents and teachers.

West Palm Beach Officer In Charge Andy Moir and Customer Relations Coordinator Gale Jackson greeted guests, followed by Library Director Douglas Crane who led the Pledge of Allegiance. Moir then introduced the Honorable Shelley Vana, Mayor, Board of Palm Beach County Commissioners, District 3. The Mayor read “Who’ll Pull Santa’s Sleigh Tonight” to 35 preschool children/

“I am so glad the Postal Service approached our library about hosting this event.  It really was outstanding, and I look forward to future joint ventures,” said Library Manager Adam Davis.

“I have a great relationship with my letter carrier and I am so happy to be invited to this event,” said Mayor Vana.  “I believe in the Postal Service and I want it to survive as an institution.

Mayor Vana and Moir dedicated the enlargement of the stamps to the delight of the children who then sang “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”  The library provided holiday refreshments.
