On Sunday, November 30, the South Florida District expanded package deliveries to seven days a week for the holiday season.

More than 800 packages were delivered to Wellington residences the first of four Sunday package deliveries. At the Wellington Carrier Annex, hampers were full, and Manager, Customer Services Joe Hawk coordinated operations to ensure every package was delivered.

“I have a great group of CCAs working today ... in addition to Ann Roth a phenomenal Postal Support Employee who began at 5:00 a.m. and whose primary responsibility was to get all of the packages sorted into the hampers," said Hawk.

“Customers have told me that they are really glad to receive packages on Sunday," said City Carrier Assistant Rufus Graham II. "Customers expect their orders to be delivered on Monday, and they have stated how nice it is to receive the packages a day early.”
