In October, several Miami ISC employees were “in the pink” in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Employees who were wearing various pink apparel included Manager, Distribution Operations Benjamin Jones; Supervisors, Distribution Operations Darrell Hunter, Sergio Lopez, Chetram Ramjit, and Marina Santos; Clerks Emelia Bertre, Sharon Bridgewater, Miguel Briganty, Ana Brito, Jose Brito, Cinthia Brown, Mary Caldwell, Efrain Camacho, Maria Carbonell, Daaiyah Case, Rachel Cruz, Vivian Dykes, Barbara Felder, Rodell Gamble, Latonia Johnson, Elisa McCloskey, Jorge Ortiz, Tanya Pasley, Deborah Redding, Lucille Roberson, Raul Salazar, Abidan Santiago, Valerie Smith, Veronica Stewart, Pedro Torres, and Alicia Yves; and Mail Handler Jesus Troche.
A breast cancer survivor, Miami ISC Civil Parcel Clerk Deborah Redding shared her story with coworkers. Receiving Verification Clerk Mary Caldwell also spoke about her breast cancer experience during an awareness presentation.
