Recently, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service Miami Division participated in the annual Weston Winter Safety and Law Enforcement Expo. Postal Inspector Ivan Ramirez coordinates Inspection Service Team participation each year.
Postal Inspectors Daniel Borja, Jeremy Moberg and John Walenda, and Postal Police Captain Donald Martin and Sergeant Nancy Petrofsky drew large crowds of enthusiastic residents who visited the Mobile Command Center (pictured above).

Several young adults quizzed the Inspection Service Team not only on its mission, but on possible careers within the agency. Younger children had an opportunity to wear Inspection Service vests and hold its shield to pose for photos.

Many residents expressed their appreciation to the Inspection Service Team for engaging and involving their children in the event. City of Weston Mayor Daniel Stermer, as well as the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Weston District Chief Kevin Butler and other members of the BSO Command staff also thanked the Inspection Service for its participation.
