-- Delivers mail to over 2,317,914 homes, businesses and Post Office Boxes in a 14,383 square mile geographic area bordering the Florida Everglades and the Suncoast District to the west; the Atlantic Ocean to the east; Port Saint Lucie and the Suncoast District to the north; and the Florida Keys to the south. Area served includes ZIP Code spans 330, 331, 332, 333, 334 and 349.

-- Adds 12,763 new addresses each year to the existing delivery network.

-- Serves over 55,000 customers daily at our 164 Post Offices, stations and branches, finance units, and postal stores.

-- Has annual total revenue of $1,034 million. Annual retail revenue is $378 million.

-- Delivers more than 3.1 billion pieces of mail a year.

-- Collects mail from nearly 1,888 street mail collection boxes.

-- Employs more than 10,655 career employees.

-- Pays nearly $34.3 million yearly in employee salaries and benefits.

-- Provides alternative access for our customers to purchase stamps. Stamps are available via the Internet, by mail, by phone, at over 300 commercial retail outlets, 300 Stamps on Consignment locations, 42 Contract Postal Units, and 79 Automated Postal Centers.

-- And as one of the top performing districts in the country, is home to five Flat Sequencing Systems. Also some letter carriers deliver mail by bicycle in Miami Beach and by electric vehicle in Key West.
